"Don't Texas my Florida" - 2021

On October 02, 2021, under the hot sun of Miami, Florida, pro-abortion activists emerge to protest against the Republican proposal to ban most abortions in the state. This proposal is inspired by the dangerous Texas legislation that, at the beginning of September, prohibits abortion once a heartbeat has been detected.

Gay Pride Bogotano - 2021

On July 4, 2021, during the third wave of the pandemic and in the midst of a social crisis, queers, divergents and dissidents take to the streets of Bogotá and pridefully reclaim their existence. Photographs of my authorship.

8M-2021

On March 8, women go out to reclaim public space as another place where we have the right to exist with full confidence and security. A march led by activists with disabilities, representing all the ways in which one is a woman.

Photographs of my authorship.

An upholsterer by vocation, with more than 50 years of experience, he dedicated his last strength to finishing the commission that was assigned to him before falling ill with lung cancer. Samuel Murillo's vocation for upholstery was much stronger than the lung cancer that attacked his body. He was always a committed man who kept his word, and he wasn't going to let his illness stop him from delivering his last assignment. He traveled from one end of the city of Bogotá to another, to the workshop where he worked was located, to finish the living room set that he should have delivered for the New Year of 2018.

A Colombian father must decide whether to continue in the US immigration jail or leave his family.

“The greatest nations are defined by how they treat their weakest inhabitants.”

Investigation carried out in the Universidad Externado de Colombia about the importance of unpaid care work for housewives.

Despite the passing of the years, these primary household chores do not have fair financial compensation (which in most cases is nothing) for their labor, they have been raised by traditional social paradigms that exert pressure on women with entrenched stereotypes such as that of the “latina mom” or that of the “paisa matron”, to mention just a couple.

Convergent special made for the Media Convergence Workshop class (eighth semester, 2020-2).

On February 1, 2021, a space-time gap was created that opened a portal to an already existing parallel world, and simultaneously three women traveled to it through their mirrors, encountering a world where everything they knew as real is challenged.

The transformation through tattoos, perforations or cuts in the skin is linked to something that transcends fashion, it is a politics of the body.

For centuries, body modifications have been a form of expression of identity of the human species that, through symbols, finds a way to stand out, to differentiate itself from its peers. It is not only aesthetic, it's a counter-aesthetic.

On a trip to San Agustín, Huila, the struggle of an indigenous community called the Yanakuna is recognized. Who, in a fraternal bond with the Nasa community, constantly work for the recovery and conservation of their culture.

2018-II

Witches are a symbol of female empowerment, in which women become independent from the masculine.

Here you will be able to find the history of witches, perpetuated by the daughters of those who weren't condemned to be burned at the stake.
