Big Buzz Idea Group (BBIG)
Digital Marketing Manager - May, 2025
Since joining Big Buzz Idea Group, I’ve led digital strategy, content creation, and cross-platform communications for a diverse portfolio of nonprofit, professional, and community-based clients. My work blends journalism, digital design, and data-driven storytelling to elevate mission impact, strengthen engagement, and support organizational goals through clear, intentional communication.
Digital Strategy & Content Creation
I oversee content development, editorial calendars, and campaign execution across BBIG’s client base, ensuring consistency in voice, accessibility, and brand identity. My work spans:
Social Media: Multi-platform strategy, post creation, design, and scheduling
Email Marketing: Newsletters and campaigns reaching 650–7,000+ contacts
Websites: WordPress, GoDaddy, and Squarespace updates and UX improvements
Creative Production: Photography, videography, and graphics supporting events, reports, and donor engagement
Client Work & Impact
Conquer Myasthenia Gravis (Conquer MG)
I lead campaigns for the Viking Challenge and awareness initiatives, crafting newsletters and social content that reach 4,200–4,900 subscribers with open rates of 40–44%. Social media programming (8–14 posts/month) generates roughly 1,400 interactions and tens of thousands of impressions.
Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu (Cyberjutsu)
Managing 3–4 posts weekly, I support Cyberjutsu’s LinkedIn growth to ~28,800 followers and monthly engagement of ~5,000 interactions on Instagram. Email campaigns reach ~7,000 contacts, driving recruitment and event participation with click rates up to 15%.
American Hearing Research Foundation (AHRF)
Email campaigns reach 2,200 contacts with open rates up to 39.6%. Social campaigns in October reached ~79,000 users, generating 2,100 interactions and 730 clicks, supporting hearing health education and fundraising initiatives.
Lambda Alpha International (LAI)
I design monthly newsletters sent to 650–770 members, driving open rates of 54–55% and click-through rates up to 14%. I oversee website updates, committee pages, and event communications supporting Homecoming, Chautauqua, and annual membership drives.
Rogers Park Business Alliance (RPBA)
I produced a 10-reel-style series featuring Rogers Park business owners, filmed between September 27 and October 31. The reels highlight authentic owner stories and evergreen visuals tailored for Instagram and Facebook. Early engagement includes:
ChiTown Bio: 128 likes, 3 comments, 8 shares, 55 sends
Badou Senegalese Cuisine: 143 likes, 8 comments, 7 shares, 38 sends
Rogers Park Provisions: 147 likes, 9 comments, 7 shares, 13 sends
Tamales Lo Mejor de Guerrero: 142 likes, 5 comments, 4 shares, 38 sends
Athena Board Game Café: 105 likes, 3 comments, 7 shares, 16 sends
These results reflect strong performance for RPBA’s ~3,000-follower audience, with high shares and saves signaling community resonance. I also developed the campaign content calendar, captions, and posting guidance for November 29th, Small Business Saturday.
Multimedia Production & Storytelling
Across clients, I create social media videos, short-form reels, event photography, and graphic assets that highlight mission-driven work. My approach centers narrative clarity, visual consistency, and accessibility — ensuring each piece is aligned with client identity and community engagement goals.
Events, Fundraising & Cross-Client Collaboration
I support virtual and in-person events through targeted communications, content planning, donor messaging, and analytics tracking. My work helps increase participation, strengthen visibility, and maintain continuity across client campaigns.
