As Bilingual Communications and Development Associate at Center for Changing Lives, I have played a pivotal role in enhancing both internal and external communications, contributing to the organization’s growth and engagement.
Since March 2023, I have led social media strategies and managed bilingual content across platforms, overseen the design and updates of the organization’s website, created and researched social media materials, produced videos and photography, supported fundraising efforts by managing donor communications and organizing events like the annual Gala, and contributed to grant proposal refinement and the organization of the grants pipeline, all while collaborating closely with the Director of Resource Development and the administrative team to drive the organization’s mission forward.

Social Media: A 2023 - 2025 Overview
I've led a redesign of the organization’s social media presence, carefully balancing the continuity of previous branding with a more streamlined, concise visual identity. This update was aimed at enhancing the clarity of our message, improving user engagement, and ensuring that the content is both visually appealing and aligned with the organization’s mission and values.

Website: A 2023 - 2025 Overview
I've lead the ongoing redesign of the organization’s website on Squarespace, merging elements of the existing branding with a more cohesive and user-friendly layout. The focus is on streamlining navigation, enhancing user experience, and ensuring that content is engaging, accessible, and aligned with our mission, all while maintaining bilingual accessibility in both English and Spanish.

Redesign of Annual Report
Leading the redesign efforts for the 2023 and 2024 Center for Changing Lives Annual Reports, as well as the layout and navigation on the website, aiming for a more visually compelling and easily digestible presentation of our work. This involved revamping the layout and strategically incorporating visuals to highlight the organization's impact and ongoing commitment to the community. The most recent report is available here

I support the creation of newsletters on the Network for Good Platform by collaborating on both content development and design, ensuring that each edition effectively communicates key updates, upcoming events, and organizational initiatives. The goal is to engage our audience with clear, visually appealing content that aligns with the organization’s mission and strengthens connections with our community.

Multimedia Production & Visual Storytelling
Creating visual content through photography, videography, and graphic design to support the organization’s branding and communication goals. This includes conducting interviews and actively participating in video production, ensuring each piece tells a compelling story that aligns with our mission.

Fundraising, Donor Relations & Cross-Departmental Support
Support in fundraising efforts by managing the donor database on platforms such as Betterworld, crafting donor communications, and organizing key events like the annual Gala (2023-2024), as well as donor engagement initiatives with local businesses such as Avondale Bowl Night, Manicure Party, etc. These events help strengthen relationships with donors and community partners. Additionally, contributions to grant proposal development and reporting, while collaborating across departments to ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
